Charles DeSimone serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Cape Cod & Region at BankFive, where he leads strategic growth and community engagement across the Cape Cod market. Since joining BankFive in December 2020, Charlie has built a strong and expanding presence on the Cape, delivering exceptional results in loan and deposit growth while strengthening the Bank’s reputation throughout the Cape Cod community.
Charlie's leadership reflects a thoughtful balance of strategic execution, sound risk management, and a strong commitment to client relationships. Widely regarded as an expert in the Cape Cod commercial lending market, he is known for cultivating long-standing partnerships with business owners and community leaders.
A lifelong resident of the Cape, Charlie is deeply involved in the community, serving on the Advisory Committee of the Cape Cod Challenger Club and volunteering with Meals on Wheels. He is also a former Loan Committee member of both Coastal Community Capital and the South Eastern Economic Development Corporation.
Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
