Jimmy Costa
Senior Vice President, Chief Banking Officer
Jimmy Costa is the Senior Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at BankFive, overseeing the Bank's retail branch network, small business banking, and wealth management.
Jimmy has more than 35 years of banking experience and has been with BankFive since 2018, previously serving as First Vice President of Retail. Prior to joining BankFive, he was a District Executive at Santander Bank, managing 22 retail branches. He resides in his hometown of Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
An active community leader, Jimmy serves as Board President of Friends of St. John the Baptist and is a board member of Day of Portugal Fall River and Discovery Language Academy. He is also involved with BankFive’s LUSO Employee Resource Group, supporting connections within the Portuguese Lusophone community.
Jimmy holds a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese Language and Literature from UMass Dartmouth and a certificate in Portuguese Studies from the University of Lisbon.
