BankFive was founded by a group of business leaders who recognized a need in the community and acted upon it by bringing fair and equitable savings solutions to those working and residing in Fall River, MA. As entrepreneurs themselves, they found an innovative solution to the banking challenges of the day - a mutual savings bank without shareholders. More than 170 years later, we proudly serve our SouthCoast Massachusetts and Rhode Island communities with the same passion as our founders. Their spirit is reflected in our core values:
