At BankFive, we're committed to investing in the communities we serve with financial and volunteer support. From the thousands of hours our employees spend volunteering for local organizations, to the financial support we provide through our Charitable Foundation and Charitable Giving Program, we are truly committed to the development and growth of our Massachusetts and Rhode Island communities.

At BankFive, our mission as a community bank is rooted in creating a thriving community. Whether it's providing capital for local businesses, facilitating homeownership for our customers, or supporting nonprofit organizations, community well-being is at the heart of what we do.

In January 2011, we proudly announced the establishment of the BankFive Foundation Fund in partnership with the SouthCoast Community Foundation to augment our Charitable Giving Program. This fund is designed to bring about positive change and create a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and communities in need now and in the future. 

Working with the SouthCoast Community Foundation, The BankFive Foundation Fund supports the most pressing needs of our community.   Historically, our initiatives have successfully centered around areas such as educational youth programs, arts and culture, and community- based organizations dedicated to addressing food insecurity.

Since 2015, the foundation has awarded grants to a variety of organizations dedicated to enhancing our community. To be considered for support and funding from the foundation, prospective applicants must receive an invitation to submit their application.
