BankFive today announced that its CFO and Treasurer, Jennifer St. Pierre has been named a 2024 Providence Business News “C-Suite Honoree” in the Chief Financial Officer Category for Large Companies.
PBN’s C-Suite Awards program recognizes top C-level executives for public, private and nonprofit companies who are innovators, trailblazers, role models and leaders in the community. The honor is assigned to leaders in education, government agencies, social service agencies, and private companies of various sizes. St. Pierre and 11 other C-Suite honorees were recognized Thursday night at a ceremony at the Omni Providence Hotel.

Jennifer is a vital part of the BankFive team, overseeing the Finance, Accounting and Enterprise Risk functions for the bank. In late 2022, she established a Balance Sheet Risk Management program to enhance the Bank’s profitability and more recently, in 2023, she had a significant role in BankFive’s efforts to establish a partnership with Sunwealth, which was established in order to develop rooftop solar for Project Independence in New Bedford, resulting in environmental and economic benefits for both the community and the bank.

Jennifer is also active in the community and actively serves on the board of directors for United Way of Greater New Bedford, a charity organization that fights for the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of every person in Greater New Bedford by mobilizing people, partnerships, and resources. She also serves as a board member for Citizens for Citizens, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving Greater Fall River and Greater Taunton that advocates on behalf of low-income residents and addresses the causes and effects of poverty through the provision of direct and integrated services, the promotion of self-sufficiency, and the advancement of social change.
A resident of Dartmouth, Mass, St. Pierre is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Salem State University.
