This holiday season many community food banks and pantries are facing critical food shortages with increased demand. In an effort to support the essential work these organizations provide communities, the BankFive Foundation, a fund of the SouthCoast Community Foundation, has announced contributions totaling $12,000 to several non-profit food pantries.
The following organizations have each received a grant for $1,000 in support of their food pantries:

First Baptist Church
Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen
Mercy Meals & More
The Greater Fall River Community Food Pantry
Citizens for Citizens- Food Pantry
East Bay Food Pantry
Family Pantry of Cape Cod
Solanus Casey Food Pantry
Seven Hills Food Pantry
