Jo-Ann Pelletier
Chief Information and Data Officer, Bristol Community College
Jo-Ann Pelletier is a seasoned technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in higher education, currently serving as Chief Information and Data Officer at Bristol Community College. She was appointed to BankFive’s Board of Directors in 2026 and previously served as a corporator of the Bank.
Throughout her tenure at BCC, Jo-Ann has led major technology transformations, strengthened governance, and guided long range strategic planning that advanced the College’s digital capabilities. As a member of the senior leadership team, she advises on institutional vision and strategy and brings extensive experience in shared governance, transparency, and stakeholder engagement. Her work has included implementing enterprise systems, migrating college-wide platforms to cloud solutions, leading information security and emergency preparedness initiatives, negotiating technology contracts, and managing large scale resource planning and budgets.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jo-Ann is also deeply committed to community service. She is a longtime board member and past chair of the Family Service Association, where she has held multiple officer and committee roles.
Jo‑Ann holds an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Boston University, a B.S. and B.A. in Computer Information Systems and Computer Science from Rhode Island College, and an A.S. in Computer Programming from Bristol Community College. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
