Charitable Foundation

Providing financial support to our local communities while lifting up neighbors.

At BankFive, we believe in taking positive action. In January 2011, President & CEO William "Bill" R. Eccles, Jr., in his first executive order, announced the establishment of a charitable foundation with the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts. The foundation continued to receive bank funding until the $1 million goal was realized in 2015.

Ready to serve:

The BankFive Foundation Fund provides financial support to the local community through grants that enrich schools and other organizations that serve low- and moderate-income households. The Foundation focuses on projects that support local educational programs, financial youth programs, and health and human service organizations that benefit the elderly, veterans and the homeless of our communities. Since 2015, we have awarded grants to various organizations such as:
  • Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School
  • Coastline Elderly Services
  • Partners in Housing, Inc.
  • Community Autism Resources
