BankFive, a community-focused bank with 17 locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, made Boston Business Journal’s 2026 list of the most charitable companies in Massachusetts for the fifth consecutive year. The bank was included among 95 organizations in the state, which together contributed $417 million in cash donations to nonprofits in the Bay State in 2026.

The Foundation provides financial support to the local community through grants that enrich schools and local organizations. The Charitable Giving Program invests in community events and organizations that assist their neighbors. Every year they also award student scholarships from the President’s Scholarship Fund, which was established to honor the memory of past presidents and CEOs of BankFive.
