‘We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Boston Business Journal as a Top Charitable Contributor. Giving back is more than a commitment at our bank—it is part of who we are and how we define success,” said Anne Tangen, President and CEO of BankFive. ”We believe a strong bank has a responsibility to help build strong communities, and we are proud to support the organizations and people working every day to make a meaningful difference.”
BankFive is well known for its charitable contributions through the BankFive Foundation Fund and Charitable Giving Program. The Foundation provides financial support to the local community through grants that enrich schools and local organizations. The Charitable Giving Program invests in community events and organizations that assist their neighbors. Every year they also award student scholarships from the President’s Scholarship Fund, which was established to honor the memory of past presidents and CEOs of BankFive.
BankFive and other winners were celebrated at the Boston Business Journal’s 2026 Corporate Citizenship Awards event on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. To see the full list of winners, click here.
