Correia was honored at the 22nd annual 40 Under Forty Awards ceremony on July 16 at the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, RI, alongside stand-out young professionals from across the region.
“I am incredibly honored to receive this award among many talented and impressive local leaders,” said Correia. “This award is not only a reflection of my leadership, but also the amazing team I have to support me and collaborate with. I am grateful to my many colleagues at BankFive who have served as my mentors and supported my career growth."
Correia has worked in management since 2010 and began working in the banking industry in 2014, having previously held leadership roles at Santander Bank and Citizens Bank. He joined BankFive in 2020 as a Branch Manager and later served as a Regional Manager before being promoted to Vice President and Small Business Market Manager.
In his current role, Correia leads the bank's Small Business Relationship Management team and oversees operations at the bank’s Digital+ branches, where he drives the bank’s small business strategy, focuses on market growth, develops portfolios, and builds strong client relationships.

A Fall River resident, Scott serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Bedford and volunteers with United Way and Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts.
