BANKFIVE PROMOTES FIRST VICE PRESIDENTS AND BANKING OFFICER
(FALL RIVER, Mass., June 28, 2010) – Thomas F. Lyons, President and CEO of BankFive is pleased to announce the following promotions.
Jennifer A. LaFrance, was promoted to First Vice President. Mrs. LaFrance has been with the bank for six years and oversees the Deposit Operations and Business Development Support departments. She’s held the position of A.V.P. Customer Contact Center Manager, V.P. Retail Sales and V.P. Operations and Business Development Support. Mrs. LaFrance holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roger Williams University. She sits on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and is the Vice President of the Little Compton Education Foundation. She resides with her family in Little Compton, RI.
Gary J. Vierra was promoted to First Vice President. Mr. Vierra joined the bank in 2009 and over sees Risk Management & Compliance and Audit Administration. He has 28 years of banking experience and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Bryant University. He is involved with the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement. Mr. Vierra resides in Cranston, RI with his wife Carole and his three children Joseph, Rachel, and Marc.
Carlos Dias was promoted to Banking Officer and is the Branch Manager of the Flint Office. Mr. Dias has been with BankFive for over 20 years, holding various positions in the retail banking and credit administration departments. He is a graduate of Bristol Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business and from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth where he earned a BA in Business Administration. Mr. Dias is also a graduate of the New England Banking Institute.
