About BankFive
Hometown Hero Program:
BankFive began the Hometown Hero Program in 1993 as a way of recognizing those individuals in our community for heroic deeds, acts of kindness, and selfless efforts to make our community a better place to live and work. In January of 1996, local radio station WSAR partnered with BankFive to offer the program together. Also in the beginning of 1996, a Hometown Hero Selection Committee, comprised of community leaders and representatives, was formed. The committee reviews nominations on a quarterly basis. To submit a nomination, ask for a form at any of our 13 locations or print the form on the link below and mail it to the address noted on the form.
